Monday, June 11, 2018 - In a PInot Noir glass (root day) Delicate nose of dried rose petals, dried cherries, fennel, crushed dry leaves. Colour is showing some signs of maturity (reddish brick in colour). Dry with some over mature plum, dried cherry, and a touch of fig on the palate. Med + acidity and med tannins (still not fully resolved). The tannins add a nice bite and keeps this wine alive. Finish is dried fruit. Went very well with mild Italian sausages, Parmesan polenta and baked fennel
