Saturday, October 28, 2017 - Blind tasting during World Series game 4 (Lion cave): I think this wine is in a confused phase right now because different aspects of it kept showing, yet it was disjointed and never came together. We'll see how it shows on day 2. The cigarbox nose contrasted with the light, youthful body and the acid and oak weren't integrated. Tannins were light and I'm not sure where this vintage is going. Parker reported it closed in 2013 and I don't think it's quite ready yet. 2019+. Nevertheless it was my and the group's #2 of 4 based on the quality of the fruit.
