Saturday, October 7, 2017 - An atypical young Hoddles Pinot Noir. Sweet red fruits and silky mouth feel not the usual fare. Underneath, so to speak, it’s business as usual as per previous vintages, with impressive structure and length, albeit with a slightly less than usual savoury pinosity. Fine tannins fan out and playfully, joyfully tug for an age, and on that alone I’m tempted to score higher.
