Sunday, August 20, 2017 - From bottles bought directly at the winery at release, well stored in my cellar. Eileen's pending visit to Lede inspired the opening of a few Lede wines this evening. Nicely chilled, PnP, drank over an hour.

From prior notes: "Pale color. Crisp and fragrant nose of citrus, melon, grapefruit. Palate was pear, citrus, grapefruit, lemon zest, crushed rock. Medium finish. Very nice, lacked some of the back palate texture you get from CA Sauvignon Blanc..."

This bottle did a bit better, everyone picked up the creamy mid palate, crisp minerality and citrus. Everything working well with this wine at this point...drink over next 2-3 years...
