Thursday, July 13, 2017 - As sauvignon blancs go, this is probably my new favorite from California. Nose of citrus, mango, pineapple and a touch of grapefruit. Flavors follow the nose, with some "sweetness" and minerality and a pretty big mouthfeel. Acidic, yes, but the finish is consistent with what I've come to expect in a really good SB and it punctuates the overall complexity of this wine. Best served chilled but not refrigerator cold to allow the wine to show its' stuff.
