Tuesday, June 6, 2017 - This light-to-medium yellow wine is a blend of 82% Sauvignon Blanc, 14% Sémillon, 3% Sauvignon Vert, and 1% Muscat Canelli. More than half was fernented in French barrels, most of which were neutral. Highly aromatic, it flaunts scents of kiwi, lychee, mango and citrus, adding a whiff of grassiness. Light-bodied, freshly acidic, seamlessly alcoholic (14.4%) and with flavors mirroring the nose, it has good mid-palate density and finishes long. A bit more fruit-forward than its 2014 sibling, this is another quality offering from a truly quality producer. Enjoy it over the next couple of years. Drink now-2019.
