Sunday, September 4, 2016 - Colour: pale straw
Nose: lemon, lemon peel. A hint of tropical fruit -- pineapple and passionfruit. Some honey and nougat, old oak, crème caramel, vanilla. Leesy richness.
Palate: again , lemon and lemon peel. Pineapple. Lots of nervy citrussy acid, overlain by rich characters: crème caramel, old oak, vanilla. Honey. Quite rich, medium bodied. Lovely. 13% alcohol.
