Saturday, August 6, 2016 - Served blind. An off nose of canned cherry fruit with distracting volatile acidity. Palate is overtly candied with one note red fruit. There's still some acidity in the wine which starts to counter the rich, candied fruit ... but it cannot redeem the overt, sweet fruit.
