Tuesday, February 16, 2016 - Nose of black and red cherry, creme of cassis, blackberry, holunder, eucalyptus, orange zest. Some liqueur and clay tones as well as rosemary and old leather. Finely balanced palate of black cherry, blackberry, cassis, orange zest ringing into the end. Although there is new oak present, the tannins are smooth, and the fresh acid gives this a nice lift at the end. Very accessible, very fine.
