Saturday, September 12, 2015 - 4+8.5+4.5+8.5+8.5+4.5+4.5; Day 3: continued to hold up well and improve. Vacuum pumped after initial day, then again after 2nd day consumption of another 1/3 of the bottle. Very pleased with this wine after opening with moderate expectations based on last drinking nearly 4 years ago. Aroma really improved and my original prediction of high potential held true. This wine had really good structure, balance, with good acidic backbone and fine tannins uncommon to many of the '06 efforts. A good example that you get what you pay for and that there are some Oregon producers aiming at longevity.
