Thursday, October 3, 2013 - At Gary's Grand Tasting. Did a vertical of BV Georges de Latour. Opened for about 2 hours, drank after the 07. Tough act to follow - not as big or profound as the 07 or drinking as well as the 02 - but still a winner.

Inky, deep color, earthy, dark fruits. Would not drink without a healthy decant at this point. Oak is prevalwant, jammy blackberry, cassis. Big and extracted - but with a nice finish and texture

Excellent wine - will continue to imporve. Very young still.
