Friday, September 23, 2011 - Lighter, very Burgundian in style. A bit of an earthy and oaky smell. Toasted spice, with raspberry and strawberry that seems to be overwhelmed by oak at mid-palate.
A simple wine that lacks complexity and seems slightly disjointed. Medium finish.
