Sunday, May 12, 2024 - Subtle Brunello. Cherry on the nose, oak. Some secondary notes, graphite and stone. Thin, not a lot of extract Smooth tannins, well integrated. The wine shows some maturity. I do like this wine and buy consistently from the producer, but think of it as "Brunello light." It's not in your face, easy to drink but high quality. There's quite a bit more complexity than their Rosso, but it's still an easy, hot summer's day bottle.
