Tuesday, May 7, 2024 - I opened this and poured a bit off for about 4 hours before drinking. For a wine this young, it is shockingly open and generous as it fills the glass up with tones of strawberries, sour red cherries, dark red fruits, savory herbs, licorice, rose petals, fresh leather, and some petrichor notes. The Full bodied feel is silky and long with tart, high acidity and silky, yet youthful, high tannins. This is just flat out gorgeous. Even at this young stage, this is an absolute beauty of a Barolo. There is clearly a long life ahead of it, but it really is shockingly open to drink right now.
