This is fully mature now and in the third stage of its evolution with nowhere to go. Here you get a surprisingly quiet nose but the wine underneath is Bordeaux through and through. Melted pencil, cedar, some floral elements, and a distinctive cool climate Cabernet herbaceous note that is probably another factor in the longevity of this modest Pauillac. The chocolate notes bring in the third layer, telling you its time to enjoy this and release it into history and capture it in this memory. DRINK
