Thursday, June 15, 2023 - Drank at mercado osteria in Stresa with dinner. Supple berry fruits, extremely well balanced. Christmas cake fruit pallete, not unlike a well prepared / aged mclaren vale shiraz (that’s the Australian in me). I think this has a couple more years in it, but was exceptionally delicious with our meal, which was lamb and black ravioli. Truly enjoyed this wine, would buy if could source for drinking in the next 1 - 3 years. Value for money, especially when compared to my antipodean comparative.
