1998 Seppelt Shiraz St Peters

Community Tasting Note

wrote:

Friday, August 19, 2022 - Festival of Phil (Phil's place, Putney, Sydney): From Coravin. Meaty, savoury, slightly sour smelling red over black fruits, a little pepper and leather. Fruit is almost a little jubey on the palate, black hued with chalky, drying, grainy tannins, then swing by but the fruit, assisted by the alcohol, persists and carries long. Nice.

8/25/2022 2:39:00 AM - Hey mate enjoyed your notes. I'm at Putney as well so if you have a spare space next time at Phil's ... more than happy to bring a couple of bottles from the cellar to add to the next tasting.
