Tasted blind as part of Blind Pinot Tasting.

Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of berries, plums and wet stones. Flavors of berries, plums and cranberries. Medium acidity, medium tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink over the short term.

My guess was this is a recent vintage of California Pinot Noir. No idea as to producer.

This wine came in 13th place out of 14 wines with 10 tasters participating giving an average score of 89.00.
