April 1, 2024 - I can vouch for it: Here we are in 2024 with a 21-year-old blend of Cabernet Sauvignon with a little Sangiovese and dollops of other Bordeaux blend grapes. It is still fresh with ample body. Fruit has declined off of the earlier peak but it is still a very rich wine, similar to a Left Bank Bordeaux with a bit of Sangiovese tartness that makes it stand up to tonight's Wagyu ribeye.

December 12, 2020 - Completely agree with Dmet. Below. Really surprised how good this wine is. Exceptional. Especially at 17 years. Wish I had more.

May 21, 2020 - Shocker! Wine was in my “over the hill” area In my cellar; and it was far from over the hill! Decanted for 1 hour and drank it over a 3 hour time frame and it was solid throughout.

Nose - berry/cherry and floral, like tulips - subtle

Mouthfeel - medium weight and had characteristics of an old vine burgundy, but heavier.

    Finish - smooth and sweet.

Cannot believe this helps up for 17+ years!
