October 13, 2017 - Beautiful wine. Loads of extract. Good Fruit. Firm tannins. Very characteristic of a Right Bank Bordeaux. At 19 years young, it still has lots of life"

April 5, 2014 - 91 and drinking well. No detailed notes due to group dinner.

March 23, 2014 - Color: medium ruby -> diffuse garnet rim. Bouquet of cassis, plums, strawberries and cedar. Balanced palate of cassis, tobacco, sour cherry, vanilla, nice acidity and a medium-long finish that is starting to show some drying tannins. Very nice, quite mature and, I'm pretty sure, at the end of its optimum drinking plateau. Time to drink up if you've got any left!

March 8, 2014 - Dull violet with a touch of brown. Cassis with vanilla on the nose - smells like angel sex. The wine is dull now but you can clearly reverse engineer how nice it once was. Still pleasant.

November 9, 2012 - Color: medium ruby -> ruby/garnet rim. Bouquet of strawberries and plums. Slight aroma of spice and vanilla. Palate showed a mature, balanced wine with good acid and a medium length finish. Some mature cabernet cassis, tobacco and a little smoke for good measure. Nice. Probably best to drink over the next 3 years or so.
