November 24, 2023 - Cork was in great shape...The wine looks brick colored. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like violet, black pepper, forest floor and tobacco. The body is medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity. The wine could still has some age left in it...could go another 10 years

March 22, 2023 - At Noize, with FC and AW. Slightly ferrous nose, touch of saline too, underlying dark fruit. Medium bodied, attrative black fruit on the palate, touch of iron and blood, soft/resolved tannins, quite composed, some smokey earth appearing on good length finish. Excellent, drinking well, no hurry.

November 29, 2022 - Coravin fun - Haut Bailly (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Dark hued fruit resolves to blackcurrant and brambles, meaty notes, a little savoury spice, touch of tobacco leaf and cigar box, gets a little metallic note with time is joined by some dried orange peel. Juicy, fleshy, fresh, silky drying tannins rasp the mid palate, slightly dried out black fruits are joined by a little red currant, leathery, long, a little peppery note on the finish. Nice. In a good spot.

February 22, 2022 - Großer Wein aus großem Jahr
Satt, Reife Kirsche und Pflaumen. Kein Holz mehr. Terziär-Aromen erkennbar

December 1, 2021 - Unripe blackberry, cigar box, gravel, leather, relatively classic mature nose with muted fruit; elegant, balanced, graceful yet firm, clearly fading and little fruit remaining, but with an intact presence, refinement, and nobility
