July 11, 2020 - Cork came out whole and very easy with the help of the Ah-so.

Lots of red and black berries and some minerals but such a good, smooth balance and some acidity. Oaky and a little earthy. Very soft tannins.

If you have this in your cellar you should probably think about drinking it soon.

December 31, 2006 - Definitely past its prime. I have not been a big fan of Armailhac (probably the reason I ignored this in my cellar until now). It is not worth describing the attributes of this wine, suffice it to say that my wife dubbed it "nasty".

March 26, 2006 - How the hell did I end up with a '93 in the cellar? Typical Pauillac nose of graphite, currants, and leather. Dark garnet showing so visible signs of ageing. A bit hollow in the mid palate with a drying finish. Worked ok with roasted chicken. Not a bad wine for the $15 it cost (price tag was still on the bottle).
