April 30, 2016 - Only about 15-20 years past its prime. Fading away.

November 30, 2014 - Holding up but just barely. This is a cab drinking well at the end of its life. Nose was heavy mushroomm a high acidity and exotic fruits, like pomegranate and stewed figs. Palate was less exotic and holding up but fading.

May 29, 2010 - Deep inky purple color, moderate fruit on the nose, chocolate and dark berries on the pallet. Very nice bottle from Kate's birth year served at Will and Kate's wedding reception. Interesting contrast to the '82 Diamond Creek Gravelly Meadow which demonstrated less fruit but some additional complexity. Enjoyed with Beth, Rick, Linda, Ann, Rusty, Pam and Todd

May 29, 2010 - Dark garnet color - medium bodied - black fruit berry and black cherry fruits - subtle leather on a long firm tannin finish. Starting to show signs of age - tasted from magnum.

July 28, 1997 - !984 Cabernet Sauvignon Tasting (Walnut Creek, Ca.): Great, rich fruit, hints of wood, bark, and age on the nose, same on the palate, opens quickly than shows vanilla and sweet cherry fruit, very complete.
