Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately. Followed over about two hours.

Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Floral nose of fresh cut flowers, perfume, thistle and a mix of dark fruits. Silky smooth palate of black raspberries, black berries and a hint of black cherries. Medium to tangy acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink now. Last bottle and easily the best bottle. Drinking really well.

Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately. Followed over about two hours.

Garnet color in the glass, slightly dusty looking. Nose of birch, dust and black berries. Flavors of Bing cherries, black berries and plums. Medium acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink now.

April 12, 2017 - Lovely bottle, nice pinot with smokiness and some minerality. Oregon native but an old world burgundy wanna-be. Great effort.

September 12, 2015 - 4+8.5+4.5+8.5+8.5+4.5+4.5; Day 3: continued to hold up well and improve. Vacuum pumped after initial day, then again after 2nd day consumption of another 1/3 of the bottle. Very pleased with this wine after opening with moderate expectations based on last drinking nearly 4 years ago. Aroma really improved and my original prediction of high potential held true. This wine had really good structure, balance, with good acidic backbone and fine tannins uncommon to many of the '06 efforts. A good example that you get what you pay for and that there are some Oregon producers aiming at longevity.

March 21, 2013 - Opened and consumed March '13. Fruit very recticent. Lots of green stemminess. I love earth and truffle in Pinot, but the flavors here are more vegetal in a way not to my taste. Clearly some nice fruit underneath, but covered up by an unintegrated edgy layer of slightly off-flavors.
