November 12, 2009 - Purplish ruby color - fragrances of mulberry, black cherries and blackberry with a hint of cloves; Rich and silky mouth feel with good structure and balance, chalk-like tannins; and fine acidity on the finish. Better after being open several hours.

November 4, 2009 - I'm being generous with the 80. No nose to speak of, which carries through to the palate. Completley devoid of any real substance or character. Not objectionable per se, just extremely blah. Like airline chicken marsala - completely and utterly forgettable.

December 25, 2008 - Plenty of oak, berry fruit and moderate tannins. Some aging potential. Not a great value.
