October 11, 2020 - Good, sappy raspberry, lacking a bit in complexity

December 3, 2016 - Cellared since release. Like the 2006 Scallop Shelf, a horribly dry, crumbly cork; had to strain. Decanted for a an hour. Red fruit, some raspberry. Polished. Very tasty.

February 28, 2014 - Popped and aerated for two hours. Splendid. Medium-light body, sweet red and blue fruit; just a pleasure to drink.

January 18, 2014 - Paired with Ellen's take on Patrick O'Connell's(The Inn at Little Washington, VA) Duck with Foie Gras. A savory Pinot Noir that worked well with the dish. From magnum, decanted for 2 hours. Reticent bouquet.
The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like cherry and mineral. The body is full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.
