Community Tasting Notes 1

  • Scott4227 Likes this wine:

March 21, 2024 - Bright red, nose of sour cherries, cranberries, notes of black tea leaves, mixed spice; on the palate huge sour cherry, almost granny smith apple flavours, red berry flavours on the finish. Light weight, big acid, light tannins... probably needs another 12 months... won't be a long lived pinot, one of those for the fridge 30 mins before decant (aggressively!) And some nice soft cheese or, as we did, slow cooked lamb shank pizza. Too early for a score but will after 6-12 months with future bottles. Even now, good QPR at $20AUD
