April 2, 2024 - "There's a lot of fish at Montrose Harbor" (Chicago, IL): From magnum. Creamy, large-scaled, and rich, with a bit of a white grape note that seems out of the place for the age and vintage. I liked this more than a fifth a few years ago, but this is a little less taut and electric than I would expect for a 2008 Champagne.

February 17, 2024 - Mixed Bag at Irene's (Irene's House, St. Paul): Pale gold color. Drank a glass plus over an hour. Toasty, white flowers, poised, pear, expquisite, crystalline minerality, patisserie cream, long and focused. Delightful!

January 14, 2024 - Second of three bottles and it does not disappoint. One of my all time favorite Champagnes. Crisp and complex. Crowd pleaser.
