    Tasted non blind.

Garnet to perhaps dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of birch, sandalwood, white pepper and black cherries. Flavors of black raspberries, plums an black cherries. Medium acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold. I'd lean towards drink now.

August 21, 2014 - This wine is really singing. I drank a few other bottles to soon. If you are lucky enough to have any left I would suggest you drink one of them now even with a pop and pour. You won't be disappointed.

Tasted with dinner. Opened and served immediately. Followed over an hour.

Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of birch, thatch, raspberries, berries cherries and plums. Flavors of berries, cherries, raspberries and plums. Medium acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold over the next 2-3 years. Might pick up a point or two along the way.

October 5, 2013 - Not a lot of flavor in this bottle, with the exception of a high level of alcohol. This was the second 06 of this wine that we opened, both had the high alcohol level.

June 10, 2013 - Flirting with perfection, and better than every bottle of Marcassin I can remember (as much as I love that too).

Iron fist in the velvet glove. This was so well balanced and complete, I was stunned.

Anyone who says KB is all fruit and no restraint has never tried this wine.

Does domestic Pinot get any better? Not sure it does....
