    December 25, 2023 - At 11,966' this was served by the glass while we overlooking Mt. Washington in the distance.

    Alpino Vino has become a tradition for the wife and I on Christmas Day. A slightly influenced ride down See Forever is one of the more cautious runs of the day.

    A score of 92 most likely enhanced by the setting, altitude and my beautiful bride.

    December 17, 2023 - Oog: Helder, licht zalm rose, zeer veel kleine parels in de kroon. Neus: Zuiver, vol, aardbei, rode besjes, framboos, rabarber, mineralig en complex.
    Mond: Fris rood fruit met lekkere zuurtjes en een bittertje met toch ook een beetje molligheid. (7,6 g/L restsuiker) Mooie balans en aangename middellange afdronk (4 - 5 sec) Champagne waardig voor een kleinere prijs.

    December 2, 2023 - The wine looks salmon colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like strawberry, raspberry, red currant, grapefruit, lime, apple, burnt and toast. It tastes like strawberry, raspberry, lemon, lime, apple, peach, biscuity and bready. The body is medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has high acidity.

    May 26, 2023 - Lively salmon color. The aromas are bright and airy with flavors of raspberries, watermelon, tart strawberries, mixed with elements of yellow flowers, basil, fresh green herbs. The palate has a chalky feel on a light-bodied frame, generous bubbles, along with flavors of raspberries and watermelon. Nuances of honeysuckle, light biscuits, saline, a fun and refreshing appeal. Such a reliable producer of quality, widely-available Champagne-method bubbles with a lot of personality and value. 2/3 Pinot, 1/3 Chardonnay.
