June 3, 2011 - Tasted Blind in a flight of 3 Champagnes. Managed to recognize this beautiful Champagne. Steely and mineral nose. Elegant and somewhat austere. Subtle red berries on the palate balanced with a good acidity. Light toast. Will benefit from further ageing in my opinion.
    Disgorged in 2008.

January 10, 2011 - lovely with post disgorgement aging - balanced and fragrant, much finer texturally then when younger, delicious.

July 5, 2010 - Light golden color with lot's of persistent bubbles.
Intense notes of red fruits, honey and flowers with nuts and wooden oak. Somewhat evolved notes. The degorgement was 2009 and the input was mainly from 2006.
The taste has an intense profile marked by it's high acidity, full body but combined with chalky minerality and fresh clear red fruits. Interesting wine with transparent fruit flavor profile sewed together with the fullness from oak. The mousse is creamy and mouth filling yet refreshing.
This doesn't need anything except maybe more age. The profile has mellowed a bit so I suspect this was made to undergo malolactic fermentation. Pas dosé c'est trés bien! Merci pour Votre vin Monsieur Boulard. Outstanding stuff!

May 21, 2009 - A beautiful bottle, the best I've had of this wine. Disgorged in Feb of 2008, bottled in 06, based mostly on 2005 fruit, which has turned out to be a great year for NV Champs. This wine has definite red fruit character, but it is bathed in chalk, and it is graceful and delicate. The finish is very mineral and bright with a savory note. This wine has no dosage, yet the fruit feels totally ripe and complete. Outstanding wine.
