April 29, 2024 - Pleasant fresh, crisp. Orange-citrus notes, balanced mineral /acidity. Great with fish. The cork was poorly sealed: must drink soon.

June 24, 2023 - great fruit, and a great summer wine. Drink a glass or 2 before you dive into reds.

May 30, 2023 - A super light white wine. It was lacking a bit of fruit, but still refreshing. Cheers

May 28, 2023 - Disappointed in this vintage. 2018 / 2019 vintages much better with bread offsetting the citrus and a large amount of complexity. This vintage far more subtle, and quite bland. There was also an off putting finish. Possibly flawed bottle, although it didn’t have the “typical” wet dog corked note? Perplexing.

May 12, 2023 - Served at a dinner with family, halibut with a lemon caper sauce.
This is a very consistent wine, vintage after vintage. Have had several people comment that the 2021 is the best or among the best SBs that they have had. Great balance, no element overwhelms any other. Crisp acidity, prevalent but not overwhelming citrus flavors on the palate, smooth finish.
