May 12, 2020 - Brunello di Montalcino Dinner (The Conservatory, Crown Wine Cellars, 18 Deep Water Bay Drive, Shouson Hill, Hong Kong): Semi-transparent ruby colour...still looks very fresh. Nose is earthy and rich and very BdM. Palate is lovely rounded but slightly bitter red fruit. Very bright, fresh and alive. This has a very nice light resonance inside the head on the finale the is quite Burgundian.

October 2, 2007 - Hazy ruby core with brown rim. Very dirty smell, hint of reduction, cherry and chocolate/coffee.
Still good acidity (medium to medium+), light body, low tannins, sour cherry with again hint of coffee.
Medium finish.
