    Tasted non blind.

Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of black cherries, black berries, plums, cocoa powder and violets. Flavors of boysenberries, cherries and dried plums. Medium to tart acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold.

December 17, 2021 - After year of aging from last tasting, seems to have mellowed. Nice purple color, true Cabernet nose. Pretty closed. Tannins are pleasant. Some oak, dark cherry, cassis. Drinking well.

Tasted non blind at the winery.

Blend of Estate Petite Verdot plus other varietals from surrounding Texas Hill Country vineyards.

Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, fairly clear looking throughout. Nose of Briar patch, violets, black cherries and black pepper. Tangy flavors of boysenberries, raspberries and black cherries. Medium to bright acidity, drying tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink now with some air time or continue to hold.

November 16, 2020 - Bordeaux style blend. Dark ruby color. Nice fruit on nose with long finish. Tannins are big not huge. Drinkable now and could age a bit. Hint of tobacco on the finish which is nice.
