October 9, 2022 - tropical profile, papaya, orange marmalade, yellow peach, round and somewhat rich, alcohol not obtrusive. A fine wine from this site. Ehran makes good decisions and this wine is on the more flamboyant end of the stable of Failla chards.

March 11, 2022 - Lemon, stone, a bit of orange peel. Moderate complexity and medium acidity, and a very mild level of oakiness.

June 28, 2021 - Drank on a super hot, humid evening. We tried to get this extra cold before we consumed, but it quickly warmed in our glasses. Glad it did as it was much more expressive at warmer Temps, versus more astringent when colder.

Dominated by hay and orange blossom. There was some complexity, but not an overly forward wine. Subtle and restrained, which seems to be more the Failla style (and in contrast to Hudson Ranch House style).

This was enjoyable and represents the lowest price point for getting Hudson Chardonnay I've seen. Likely reflects less barrel cost, which for me isn't a winning proposition as we like the fuller oakier body. But if you're looking for a Burgundy-like expression from a premier Napa Chardonnay Vineyard, this is a good example.

June 25, 2021 - Wanted to like this wine more than we actually liked it - at this price. Pale gold coloring; opened with some funky hay on the nose, which evolved to hints of green and Mellon. Flavors of yellow apple and citrus. Nice and dry, with more acidity than fruit or oak. It was fine for a $20 bottle of Chard. Low QPR.
