Community Tasting Notes 5

February 5, 2022 - This is delicious and has good grip. I definitely tasted blue fruit and earthy elements that are in balance along with a mouthfeel meant for a steak. Very good wine with a wonderful aroma. Its approachable now but I believe it could be a 95-96 in a few years.

November 20, 2020 - Excellent Napa Cab. Big wine with heavy intense mouthfeel. Interesting anise / licorice / black plum flavors. Beautiful smooth finish. Heavy hitter for sure. Drinking nicely now with a decant. Reasonable QPR.

July 9, 2020 - A stunning bottle of wine, rich dark berries, vanilla, smoked meat and cocoa notes with an incredibly long, smooth finish. Will be interesting to see where this goes with age,but it is SO good now.

April 11, 2020 - I see a lot of potential here (at least a couple more points). Clearly young as it was tight (as most young Lede wines are) upon opening. Needed over 3 hours in the decanter to open up and yield a wine that had blue and red fruit (initially fruit hidden behind earthy charred tastes). Nice earthy element with minerality, dark chocolate, tobacco and embers. Long finish. Nose was tight and tannins are a bit sharp at this stage. Struck me as a baby Myriad Elysian (unlikely to match the intensity and mouthfeel of that wine tho).
