May 17, 2024 - PnP. A good, typical Brunello. Beautiful aromas wafting from the open bottle. Grapefruit and red cherries, tobacco, minerals, earth. Medium body. Dark red. Still too young. Quite sandy upon opening, and it mellowed and developed over two hours ( then the bottle was empty ). It may be better to wait another two years or so, before drinking the next. We have three more: will we manage?

May 4, 2024 - I had 2 bottles this week. Lovely nose. Precise but powerful fruit on the palate. Excellent length. Though not inexpensive, if this was from France would cost twice as much.

April 30, 2024 - Beautifully aged with intensive fruit, herbacious secondary note, and well-absorbed tannin. After an hour this bottle is just fabulous. Simple and straightfoward yet powerful enough, and no sign of degradation at all. Wish I had this more.
