June 28, 2005 - Rusty orange/red. Subtle aromas of vanilla, spice, cassis. Mature flavors of cassis, currant, tar, leather with a complex midpalate and a long finish to very mild sweet tannins. Glad I cellared this wine as it is ready to dirnk. When the wife says "really good" for any wine over 2 years old, I know I have a special wine. Lucky to have one magnum left.
