  May 27, 2021 - Striking nose of dark cherry, damp earth, mushrooms, flowers, and a subtle animal characteristic. Dark Cherry dominates the palate, but transitions into savory nuances of mushroom, dried herbs, iron/cured meat, and a nice saline quality. A rustic Pinot paying homage to Burgundy. Med bodied, medium acidity, and very delicate tannins round out the finish. One of the best Oregon Pinots I've had. I feel as if this just entered it's prime drinking window, but easily has a few more years to go. Wish I had more.

  Tasted non blind.
  
  Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of roses, berries and stones. Flavors of Bing cherries and red berries. Medium acidity, slightly drying tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink with air or continue to hold.
