April 20, 2024 - Last bottle of a case, I waited with this one and I love its current phase. On the nose notes of tobacco, eucalyptus, bacon and hung meat. Fruit is present but subdued, quite complex with notes of vanilla. The palate could be mistaken for a Rioja.

September 8, 2023 - (Beef Stew w Jeff, DY, Kenneth) [Vertical alongside 2000] Concentrated, still intense and clean, velvet leather, elegant. Surprising power for age. Dark wood, ripe plums, spiced cherry. Inky savoury. Powerful. Drinking at peak.

July 30, 2023 - Loyang chalet doggie BBQ. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, pronounced intensity, with aromas of Ribena concentrate, blackberries, blac plums, dark currants, eucalyptus. Developed.
On the palate, dry, medium acidity, high alcohol (14.5%), smooth resolved completely integrated tannins, full body. Pronounced flavour intensity, with flavours of blackberry jam, black plums, cassis, spice, some eucalyptus. Long finish.
Very good quality. Drinking at peak now already. Has some black jam notes but overall doesn't feel jammy despite the pronounced intensity.

June 21, 2023 - Decant and let breathe for a couple of hours. Fruit still there and tannins very soft. Excellent and timing was good because time to drink because cellaring had been good. Awesome and lucky!
