December 21, 2022 - Not my favorite style but a good representation of a left bank bordeaux. Cassis, blackberry, leather and a bit of oak on the palate. Full bodied with grippy tannins.

December 31, 2020 - Nicely layered California take on a right bank Bordeaux. Darker, ruby color than I anticipated. First impression is of ripe cherry with a hint of sweetness and smoke. The merlot certainly provides roundness but this has a nice tannin backbone and some balancing acidity. Looong legs and a medium finish. Very tasty all by itself.

November 15, 2020 - Magnificent wine. Soft Merlot with cherry notes, the Cab Franc delivers bittersweet cocoa.

February 9, 2020 - Not much to say. This is fantastic. Bottle decant 1 hour. Enjoyed over the next two with a friend. The merlot was forward but enough backbone from the cab franc will allow this to live for a long time.
Earth, fruit, dirty socks, .... excellence.
