November 18, 2023 - Drinking great. Mint chocolate. Fresh tomato leaf. Graphite. Bloody. Smoked salami. Briney. Still has lots of life.

June 15, 2023 - Drank at mercado osteria in Stresa with dinner. Supple berry fruits, extremely well balanced. Christmas cake fruit pallete, not unlike a well prepared / aged mclaren vale shiraz (that’s the Australian in me). I think this has a couple more years in it, but was exceptionally delicious with our meal, which was lamb and black ravioli. Truly enjoyed this wine, would buy if could source for drinking in the next 1 - 3 years. Value for money, especially when compared to my antipodean comparative.

December 30, 2022 - 1/2. Pretty dense, opaque coloring here, with purplish ruby edges. Smells like dark fruits trio (black, blue, dark red), floral potpourri, cedar, graphite, black tea, and lemon. Medium bodied and luscious on the palate, with high acid, medium (+) length, and flavors of black fruits, lemon, and minerals. Little grip post meal, but feels pretty balanced and enjoyable at this point. Not sure about aging, but with the acid and tannin, perhaps it could go a bit more; drinking just fine now though, especially with food (heartier red sauces, pastas, pizza, and the like is working well; could also pair with red meat and robustly sauced poultry or pork).

July 13, 2022 - Consumed over a few days, via coravin. Dark red fruit, blueberry jam, pomegranate, blood orange, cracked black pepper, new leather. Pronounced acidity and spices, somewhat tangy, but at the same time supple. Long finish. This is drinking well now but I can imagine that it has many years of life ahead of it.
