December 15, 2011 - Took an hour or so to open up but was a nice old world style blend. Tannins have pretty much left us but the fruit was still there. Not a wine built to age much beyond here. Enjoy now!

February 7, 2010 - Last bottle of those provided to the bottling volunteers. Color was that of a much younger wine. Deep color with no sign of bricking. Nose of casis and black fruit. Palate was disappointing when compared to the nose. Palate was singularily focused and lacking fruit at this point.

November 22, 2009 - The dark purple has softened to more of a ruby hue. Likewise, the fruit and structure has faded. It remains nicely balanced but past its prime by a couple of years.

August 19, 2009 - Fruit has definitely started to fade. I'm glad this was my last bottle.
