April 9, 2023 - Outstanding. Dark fruit with a creamy texture. Not sweet, perfect balance.

January 3, 2023 - This is a great Pinot from Calera. My favorite vineyard. At 10 years it is fully mature IMO but it will no doubt be great for several more years.
Beautiful nose of cherries and cranberries. Same deep fruit on the plate with some menthol and tea added. Long finish

March 3, 2022 - Opened by the host prior to arrival. Not sure for how long.

Overall dark profile for Pinot Noir, heading more into black fruit than red fruit territory. It's not at all heavy, which is a bit of a surprise based on the ripe aromatics, and despite being full of dark cherry/plum fruit it also has a freshness that keeps it lively through the finish. Still a good bit of tannin on the back end, and the spice and herb notes want a little more time to develop into the whole, but I do like this quite a bit.

September 12, 2021 - Agree with the other people that said it's un-Pinot like, but, somehow that makes it more unique. And it still has a healthy vein of acidity to balance the bold, dark fruit. It's in a great place right now with some subtle, herbal tertiary notes poking through although you could definitely cellar for longer.
