March 19, 2017 - Stewed mixed berries, leather, green olive, antique shop and Indian spice. A medium finish and very ready. So much personality and a little fine tannin. Drink now.
November 6, 2016 - A very nice Bordeaux style wine. Not a huge finish, but very nice flavor on palate.
January 23, 2016 - Wonderful nose that gives you a great sense for this wines Bordeaux style. Surprisingly this bottle has held up in its old age. Smooth with mild fruit. Hints of blackberry and full of tar. Even some modest spice at the very end. Lovely.
September 11, 2015 - I think we waited too long on this one as it's very aciditic and has nothing left on the finish. Definitely not like other Conn Valley Eloges, but not horrible. I really don't care either because the Jays hung a 5 spot on the Yanks in the 1st!! Great start to the weekend!

April 2, 2013 - Continues to drink nicely - especially good given the poor vintage in Napa. Probably at peak and on way down - tastes similar to my note from 11/2010 so that would imply no rush to drink. 91+
October 25, 2012 - Such a beautiful wine. Balanced fruit, no obvious tannin or harshness. Opened two hours before drinking.
