  July 2, 2021 - Drinking beautifully. Deep and rich, with balanced black fruit. Zins do not get much better than this. There is no hurry to drink this.

  February 16, 2021 - A much better bottle than our previous bottle in July '20 - probably because we decanted it for 40 minutes before enjoying. The wine came together and darkened during the decant.
  The color was a medium plus violet. Dark red fruits and some spice on the nose. The palate showed a significant amount of spice and pepper, but also a good amount of dark red and bright red fruits, along with a touch of earth. The acidity was juicy, but balanced the fruit rather than outpacing it, and any tannins were completely integrated. The wine may hold for another year or two, but it may be best to enjoy it now - with significant air up front.
