November 13, 2018 - Lovely bottle of wine. Gentle autumnal decay on the nose, along with squished red fruits, hint of aniseed and maybe some plum. Palate is developing but still fresh, a well balanced mix of quietly persistent red cherries, some strawberries too, fishing with good acidity. So easy to drink, and no need to wait.

January 30, 2017 - Usually a big fan of the Wickhams Rd wines produced by Hoddles Creek. This one - not so sure. It's red fruited with cherries and strawberries on the nose and palate, but there is an element of jam that distracts, along with an odd metallic note on the finish. Still a good wine, with some nice twiggy/spicy notes on the mid palate and decent acidity on the finish but still....hoping just a somewhat off bottle.

May 16, 2014 - Musky fruit of chalky cherry on the nose with a balance of savoury spice and florals. Quite a bold structure with some lip-smacking acidity and an earthy finish.
