  September 5, 2016 - A dinner guest brought this and I was impressed. If you’re looking for a bottle that SCREAMS cab franc there was no mistaking the varietal here: BIG minty, green pepper-y expression throughout, with loads of dark fruit and well-integrated oak. The weight and balance seemed spot-on with just-right tannins, structure and richness. With a few years of bottle age it's in the zone and poured great without a decant, but seemed it could rest another 5 years easy without losing itself. I wasn’t familiar with this producer before but they are now on my radar.

  December 30, 2015 - Cedar and vanilla on the nose. Tannic and acidic on the palate- not too out of balance, but the fruit is muted. I'm missing the typical green pepper associated with this varietal. Finishes quick with hint of black pepper. Good with food.

  June 22, 2014 - On the oaked side. Opaque purple color. Prune, inky. When it opened up, it went well with the pork tenderloin we had tonight.
