August 19, 2013 - There is a nice brambly, briar nose to this, with earthy spices and musky, rose petal delicacy as well. The palette has searing acidity with some relatively muscular tannins that belie the delicate, feminine nose. There is a bright cherry core that fills out to be quite dark and almost chocolatey. This is interesting stuff.

March 14, 2013 - A nose of ripe red cherry with savoury Asian spices and a sweet vanilla edge. The palette shows a nice crushed rock minerality and soft tannin combination which got really smooth and balanced on the fourth day. This is a keeper that is drinking well right now.
