September 12, 2019 - Crimson in color. 14.8% ABV. Charming nose of red fruits, cherry cola, rose petals and cloves. Medium body with exquisite acidity. Fruit forward, plush and perfectly balanced. Cherries, plums, baking spices and minerals on the palate. The finish on the wine is breathtaking. Delicious wine that embodies everything I adore about Kosta Browne. Best over the next 2-4 years.

September 5, 2019 - Big, big, big pinot. Heavily extracted blackberry, dark cherry and blueberry. Little sign of spice under the alcohol. Almost petite syrah-like. Several years ahead for this, our last. On this night, I would not want a steady diet of this delicious but fatiguing pinot... or would I? Still, a fantastic glass epitomizing the "CA vs. OR" debate.
